It Begins

Ok- I'll forego the obligatory remarks regarding the fact that there are too many blogs already, and I can't possibly imagine why anyone would want to follow another, etc. This blog is really for friends and family to follow the progress of my gardens for the year.     Hey Chauncey,
    So how does your garden grow? Anything new? This weekend I will plant my seeds in the milk cartons and see how they grow. I have high hopes. Sheila started her flowers 2 weeks ago. Are the evenings warm?

    Hey Tundra: See the new violets (and hyacinths and forsythia) in the above post. Very cool, but I wish they'd last throughout the year. Think our Dogwood tree in the back has succumbed, but this will open up some space for a Wheeping Cherry. Stay tuned...
